“Man” Wanted After a Lockdown at a Lenoir County School

I never actually use the word “stupid” to describe someone. Behavior maybe, but not an individual.  I may make an exception.  I put quotes around man, because…

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies are trying to locate a man wanted after a homemade explosive device was found in a vehicle near North Lenoir High School.

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation on Saturday after responding to a theft of an ATV from the school.

North Lenoir High School went on a lockdown to allow law enforcement to conduct an intensive search of the campus for other explosive devices.

That suspect was identified as Joshua L. Morris of Greene County.

In previous stories we learned the school was searched until Sunday afternoon.

Deputies searched every bush, trash can, hallway, classroom, bathroom, locker room, school bus…any location, big or small was checked and no explosive devices were found. We are confident that there is not a safety hazard due to an explosive device on the campus when we concluded the search.”

Good job, deputies.
